I am a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation which has several Special Interest Groups (SIGs) focused on different aspects of positioning, navigation, and timing, and the different communities involved.

• I am former Chairman of two SIGs: 
  • Satellite SIG focused on space aspects
  • Research & Development SIG focused on cutting-edge and future developments in academia and industry
